The Hirosegawa river is more than a simple body of water. Farmers grow crops along its fertile banks and families and friends gather to take a break from their jobs and the city. It is lined with parks, farms, businesses, trails, homes and forests and seems to have a life of its own.
This long-term project, started in early 2013, is a story of the area near the end of the river, looking at the importance it has to the lives that interact with it and watching as it changes with time.
